Owen Sweeney poured in 56 points last night against Ashland, in his bid to reach 1000 points before the Tournament starts. ( He fell just short last night- but should easily reach the milestone in the quarterfinals)
In the process, he set a new single-game scoring record for Easton High School. The previous record was 46 points, held by Mark Page which was set 43 years ago.
Page set the record on January 11, 1981, when Easton played. Southern Aroostook. The Bears won that game 85-61.
